In 2002, Friends of the Arts voted to present an annual, fine arts scholarship to a graduating senior at the Platte County R-3 High School. Since 2003, the PCFA organization has given out over $25,000 to assist students in achieving their goals to further study in the field of Fine Arts.
The 2025 scholarship amount of $1,000 will be presented at the annual high school awards ceremony. The scholarship is not of the renewable nature. The payment will be made directly to the college or university with 1/2 applied to the fall semester 2025 and 1/2 applied to spring semester 2026.
